I have often thought that the month of May is when we should celebrate New Years. It seems a bit dreary to celebrate that in the middle of winter, in the depths of the shortened and often frozen days. Spring time just seems to embody the New Year, and I am always so invigorated when the grass turns green and the flowers start to grow.
So with that, I am eagerly looking forward to this May. As you probably know from twitter, I am in the middle of a big move – my house was sold and the keys were exchanged April 27th, we won’t be getting possession of our new house until May 30th. I am bouncing back and forth between Edmonton and Peachland for the next month, but will be eager to get the house set up this summer. Early on the to do list will be patio furniture and hopefully a hot tub. Later on the to do list will be to find another Occupational Therapy job locally. Anyone hiring?

This week, PokerStars had a limited release of an awesome new feature called BOOM! Hand Replayer, make sure to check it out. It is so simple to use. You can post hands to twitter, to Facebook or even your blog with the click of a button. I love it because you can show hands where you make a great play, a good fold, or even take a bad beat. I have always preferred visual learning and like reviewing hands in a replayer, but up until yesterday I had never actually loaded a hand into one.

Don’t forget that SCOOP starts this Sunday, May 6th. There is also a $250 reload bonus, that is running until May 3rd. I won’t be able to play much of a schedule until the 17th, which suits me fine as the 8 game tournaments are that day. I’ll be hosting the final table for those events, but hopefully I’ll also still be playing!
P.S. Gibson is about to move into the best cat house ever….a 40′ x 20′ sun room!
